when the shit hits the fan

Now, this link has nothing to do with anything. It's just gross things make me laugh and this is one of the grossest things I've seen in a long time, so of course I laughed my ass off.

today's horoscope

Lady luck is with you today, dear Gemini, and you shouldn't have any trouble achieving whatever you want. It could be that you have been apprehensive about making connections with certain people. Don't let this hesitation keep you from picking up the phone today and simply saying hello. Doors are right in front of you, and all you need to do is open them. You have all the keys you need right in your pocket.

...and more boys

And then there's this other boy...

Mike came to visit me almost 2 weeks ago and we had a lovely time. We sent each other thank you emails and promised to do it again. And then I handn't heard from him since.

So 2 days ago I sent him a witty email giving scenarios as to the reasons why he hasn't contacted me: in the Witness Protection Program, stuck under a fridge, broke fingers in car door.

Yesterday he emails me that there was a death in his family. His uncle passed away quite unexpectidly and he was busy tending to his family.

I felt like crap.

But he still want's to see me. So it looks like I'm stil in the running.

about a boy

So there's this boy...

In my boredom of staying home all summer, I gave in and signed up for Yahoo Personals just to see if I could find someone to chat with. It wasn't like I was going to run away with anyone, because I couldn't even walk.

So I began a email conversation with Paul (31, Pieces, 6'1", athletic body, light brown hair, hazel eyes). I saw his picture and he's quite cute. He's funny, and witty and his emails always make me laugh. We even managed to speak on the phone once, but that was wierd in a '7th grade - talking to a boy for the first time' kinda way. Besides, he was on his way out to a basketball game so we were only on the phone for about 15 minutes.

But yesterday I discovered that I'm able to drive my car again, so despite the cast on the left leg, I can still manage the clutch. This means that I am mobile again and able to do whatever I want again.

I just sent Paul an email suggesting that we get together for a chocolate chip cookie....
